• Maya Tekstil, founded in 1993, is a strong manufacturer of the pillows, quilts and accessories such as drawsheets and undersheets. We are the pioneers in the improvement of the sleeping culture in Turkey and in the world through our experienced staff. We offer our high technology products, filled with “goose down”, “siliconised fiber ball”, “stuffing”, “visco”, “PU sponge” and “latex” with our fabulous brands Penelope, Othello, Elite and Penelope Dorme. With each brand, we provide special sleeping solutions to meet different expectations. Our company produces daily 3.000 pillows and 200 quilts in its manufacturing facility in Sancaktepe Istanbul. We offer our products in a wide sales network, which goes over the Turkish market, reaching foreign markets from Africa to the Balkans, from Europe to Far East.
  
  For the purpose of processing natural goose down used in production to make it ready for industrial manufacturing, we established our subsidiary MAYOCA in 2006 with our Italian partner. MAYOCA, the only “goose down processing factory” in Turkey, continues its activities today with just Turkish capital. There are a limited number of facilities in the world having this content and size.
• We support our success and works with certificates, which have validity on international platforms. Our company has been accepted as a member of the European Down & Feather Association for our know-how, production capacity and quality in goose down. Our company, which strengthens its efficiency on international platforms, is also a member of the International Sleep Products Association. Maya Tekstil aiming to transform its existing industrial know-how into future investments, continues the construction of its new production facilities on a total closed area of 25.000 square meters in Sakarya Akyazi. The new factory, expected to be launched by the end of 2011, is a candidate of becoming the most advanced facility of Europe in the industry. We believe, that the excitement, which started with the first “Penelope” branded retail shop launched in April 2011 in Marmara Forum will merge with the new production and investment areas to carry us to new successes.
